The oldest winery in Chile -In 1860, Mr Jose Tomas Urmeneta, an explorer and visionary man, sensed the enormous
potential of the fertility of Chilean soil. Guided by his inspiration, he brought some of the most
noble French varieties to Chile and founded Vina Urmeneta.
Nestled between the Andes mountain range and the Pacific coast. Its sandy-clay soil
is irrigated by thaw waters, which favour good drainage and provide many minerals. Today,
the Urmeneta brand is present throughout Chile and in more than 38 countries around the world.
This unoaked Chardonnay is a clean light yellow colour and shows aromas of peach and pineapple, with a hint of banana that all blend perfectly with sweet notes of vanilla.
Bright acidity heightens the fresh and fruity sensation and helps balance the sweetness on the long finish. Excellent persistence.
